Almost 10 million illegal publications were confiscated in China in H1 2018

Beijing. Jul 16. Silkroadnews - According to the National Office for Fight against Pornography and Illegal Publications, in the first half of 2018 China confiscated more than 9.8 million illegal publications, Global Times reported.
More than 24 million harmful, obscene and pornographic resources on the Internet have been blocked, the National Office said.
More than 5,300 cases involving the production of pornographic and illegal publications were considered in the first quarter, of which 88 major cases were considered jointly by the National Office and the Ministry of Public Security.
The National Office said that it would continue to fight illegal publications, harmful and obscene information, fake media, dishonest journalists and copyright infringement to create a clean and healthy cyberspace and publishing industry.
