American Boeing will supply national Iranian air carrier by spare parts

Tehran. July 25. Silkroadnews - The Boeing Company has signed a contract with the national airline of Iran for the supply of spare parts, the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG). According to the report, the agreement includes the supply of spare parts, accessories and navigation equipment. It is also reported that Boeing is in talks about the contract with the Iranian company «Iran Air Tours», which is a subsidiary of the country's national airline. This deal became possible after U.S. Treasury Department in April 2014 allowed Boeing to sell spare parts for Iranian aircraft, which was the result of a preliminary agreement on the Iranian nuclear program. However, the resolution does not mean the shipment to Iran new aircraft.
