China’s investment abroad increased by 14.7% up to $118 billion in 2015
Almaty. January 20. Silkroadnews - At the end of 2015 the volume of direct non-financial investment from China to foreign countries amounted to 735.1 billion yuan ($ 118 billion), which is 14.7% higher versus 2014, TASS agency informs.
According to the official representative of the Ministry of Commerce Shen Danyang, the highest increase of Chinese investments during this period have been observed to ASEAN - by 60.7% and the United States - 60.1%.
He also noted that 18.2% increase in capital investment from China is observed regarding the countries of the “belt and road” initiative. Among the major investments recipients of this sector are Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Laos, Russia, Singapore and Thailand.
The foreign investments to China’s economy made $126.3 billion (+6.4%) for the past year.
