Kyrgyz deputies offer to raise the fine for smoking in public places by 3 times

Almaty. November 20. Silkroadnews - Law "On the prohibition of smoking in public places" in Kyrgyzstan does not work, so the members of parliament propose to increase the fine from 100 to 300 soms, transfers KyrTAG citing MP Dastan Bekeshev.
According to him, the deputies intend to amend the legislation of Kyrgyzstan and initiated the draft law "On raising the rates of excise duty on tobacco products".
As explained KyrTAG D.Bekeshev law "On the prohibition of smoking in public places" was adopted in 2006, but there were not spelled out clear mechanisms of accountability smokers, and the amounts of fines were very low.
