Kyrgyzstan’s president urged his compatriots to build the state to the envy of neighbors

Almaty. January 20. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev called his compatriots to build a strong state to set a pattern to neighboring countries, KyrTAG informs.
“We shall act so as to make the neighboring regions to become jealous of our country. To get every citizen of other countries jealous of us and want his/her country to have the same economy, democracy and freedom as we do”, A. Atambayev said during the state awards ceremony in the residence “Ala-Archa” on Wednesday.
“We have achieved a lot, just people get used to the good very quickly. I remember four years ago I was in this room holding a press conference for journalists, and the lights went out suddenly. I remember 2-3 years ago people seized the regional administrations buildings, blocked the roads. Thieves led the country, we knew those people were thieves who all their lives working for a salary, received 5 thousand som and then suddenly became multimillionaires. Thieves time is over”, the president said.
A.Atambayev said the key task of the country’s leaders now is not to interfere, but to help the patriots-entrepreneurs raising the domestic economy.
“Then these people will move the mountains. If the state not interferes with people but help them, the significant steps shall be made forward, we will win easily at least in this region. Yes, we do not have oil and gas, but we do not need it, we have great people, a strong civil society that does not endure injustice”, he concluded.
