Operation on illegal migrants detecting is carried out in south of Tajikistan

Beijing. May 22. Silkroadnews - The first stage of ‘Illegals-2018’ operation is carried out by the security forces of Tajikistan in the Khatlon region, the Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) reports on Tuesday.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, the operation is aimed to combat illegal migration, human trafficking and identification of foreigners violating the republic’s migration legislation.
This event is held in accordance with the joint order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, State Committee for National Security and the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The operational staffs have been established from the staff of competent structures of the Khatlon region to achieve high efficiency of the operation.
The first stage of operation lasting till May 23 provides for check of documents and status of stay of all foreigners living and working on the territory of the region.
