Saudi Arabia will provide Tajikistan with 108 million USD for the international highway reconstruction

Almaty. January 6. Silkroadnews – A number of meetings was held by Emomali Rahmon, the Head of Tajikistan, within the framework of his official visit to Saudi Arabia, the Tajik news agency informs (TajikTA).
Tajik President met with the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz and also discussed the prospects of cooperation with the Kingdom’s Defense Minister.
Besides, Minister of Finance of Saudi Arabia, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Development Fund, Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf, when meeting with President Rahmon said his country is going to lend Tajikistan 108 million USD through the Islamic Development Bank for the purposes of reconstruction of Dushanbe-Kulyab-Khorog-Murgab international highway within the areas of Kulyab-Shuroabad and Shkev-Kalai Khumb.
It was also reported, during his official visit to Saudi Arabia, which started on January 2, President Rahmon carried out negotiations with King Salman bin Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud in Riyadh resulted in five documents signed on the bilateral cooperation of two countries.
