Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are going to reduce tariffs for railroad freight activity by 10-15%
Almaty. January 20. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan and Uzbekistan agreed to reduce tariffs on railroad freight activity from 10% to 15%, the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) reported on Wednesday.
“During the negotiations Tajikistan and Uzbekistan agreed on the mutual reduction of tariffs on railroad freight activity from 10% to 15% on some parts of the road”, the Ministry of Transport of Tajikistan informs.
It is noted that the Uzbek side will reduce tariffs on transit of oil products, aluminum and aluminum silicate at the sites of Karakalpakstan-Kudukli and Keles-Kudukli by 15%.
Reduction for the transit of other types of goods will make 10%. A similar reduction on tariffs during the year will also be provided by the Tajik railway.
According to the Ministry of Transport, certain increase factors will be cancelled for the railway section Boldir-Kudukli.
