Tajikistan increased tariffs for electricity
Almaty. March 14. Silkroadnews – Tariffs for electricity have been raised in Tajikistan, Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) reports.
“Electricity price for 1 kilowatt per hour for budget organizations, public service institutions and sports facilities increased from 14.20 to 14.65 diram, for transport vehicles operating on electricity price increased from 9.55 to 14.65 diram. Starting from April 1 tariff for electricity consumption for pumping stations will also increase from 2.55 to 5.10 diram”, the report said.
Such price increase does not apply for population paying 14.65 diram per kilowatt.
The last time Tajikistan increased prices for electricity was last October.
The volume of electricity losses in “Barki Tochik” structure amounted to 16.1% of the total electricity produced last year.
