Ukraine increases its import of Kazakh gas by 12.8% between January and April
Astana. June 2. Silkroadnews – Kazakhstan increased its natural gas export to Ukraine to 2.7 bln cubic metres (or to USD 446.9 mln in monetary equivalent) between this January and April. This signifies 12.8% increase in quantity and 8.1% increase in receivables compared to the subsequent 2013 period. This was reported by the Customs Control Committee of Kazakh Ministry of Finance.
Therefore, the average price of natural gas exported to Ukraine by Kazakhstan is USD 164.1 per 1 000 cubic metres.
As the published data shows, Kazakhstan decreased its gas export to non-Customs-Union countries to 3.8 bln cubic metres or to USD 567.2 mln in its monetary equivalent (USD 148.5 per 1 000 cubic metres) between this January and April. This signifies 2.4% decrease in quantity and 12.5% decrease in receivables compared to the subsequent 2013 period.
