$ 24.5 million is allocated for the organization of the parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan

Almaty. September 25. Silkroadnews - More than 1.6 billion soms (about $24.5 million) allocated from the budget of Kyrgyzstan for the organization of the forthcoming parliamentary elections, the agency TASS.
According to the staff departments, the bulk of these funds were directed to the purchase of modern electronic equipment.
"These are electionic urns and electronic equipment for reading biometric data of citizens. All polling stations on the voting day will be equipped with mentioned equipment without exception, including those outside the republic", - reported in the Central Election Commission for Elections and Referenda (CEC).
According to the CEC citizen that have not passed the procedure of registration of biometric data will not be admitted to participate in the elections.
"The use of electronic ballot boxes would allow almost immediately after the vote to obtain preliminary information on its outcome", - said the CEC.
Recall, the parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan are scheduled for October 4.
