1000th anniversary of Almaty entered the UNESCO list of anniversaries

Almaty. July 22. Silkroadnews - UNESCO included in the list of anniversaries the 1000th anniversary of Almaty, informed KazTAG citing the doctor of historical sciences, academician of NAS RK Karl Baypakov.
He added that "Almaty should become a tourist Mecca".
He also explained that the work with UNESCO is not confined only by the Great Silk Road.
Finally, he added that work with UNESCO "is constantly growing".
