11 people died because of the torrential rains and floods in Iran

Almaty. July 20. Silkroadnews - At least 11 people were killed by heavy rains and flooding caused by them in the mountainous areas of northern Iran, informs the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
"According to local authorities, among the victims - a citizen of China and two women. Streams washed at least 20 cars, in which there were people, the number of missing people is not specified",- said in a statement on Monday.
As noted, torrential rains hit northern Iran on Sunday evening. The authorities note that the number of deaths in the provinces of Tehran, Alborz, Qazvin may increase. In the region carried out a search operation.
