11 people killed in explosion in Iraq

Almaty. October 12. Silkroadnews – 11 civilians were killed, 15 people were injured in the blast in the cafe of the Iraqi city of Hit, the Kazakh Telegraph Agency (KazTAG) reports with reference “Kommersant” newspaper.
The authorities said that the explosion was arranged by a suicide bomber. It is noted that Iraq continues fighting against the Islamic state militants, and Hit is located 160 km from the place of military operations.
On October 5, in the course of the offensive started on September 21, the Iraqi army ousted the IS from the central part of Al-Hawija district which had been controlled by the IS since 2014.
