Almaty. November 13. Silkroadnews - 141 people were killed and more than 1 thousand injured after a powerful earthquake in Iran, the Kazakh Telegraph Agency reports with reference to RBC.
At least 141 people have been killed and around 1 thousand people affected as a result of quake in Iran. A total of 737 people are engaged in search and rescue operation in the province of Kermanshah in the west of the country, the Iranian Defense Ministry said on Monday.
The quake struck southeast of Iraqi city of As-Sulaymaniyah near the border with Iran on November 12. The magnitude recorded was 7.3. Iraq reported on 5 killed and about 50 injured people; the Ministry of Health of Iraqi Kurdistan reported on four people killed.
