200 radioactive cars staying in the parking of the customs service of Kyrgyzstan
Almaty. February 2. Silkroadnews - 200 radioactive cars are located at the parking of the customs service of the Kyrgyz Republic. The information was announced at the meeting of the Committee on Transport, Communications, Architecture and Construction, KyrTAG reports.
According to the information, there are 200 radioactive cars located at the customs services’ parking and the Customs service cannot carry out their decontamination.
The representatives of the state environmental technologies inspection also report their agency is not dealing with the decontamination.
“Customs answer they cannot do it; environmental services say it is not included in their duties. Who shall then work over with this situation? Who, in general, allowed the import of such cars into the country?”- the committee chairman Isa Omurkulov asks.
The Committee assigned the government to clarify this issue and provide a solution approach.
Meanwhile, the deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh from SDPK party Dastan Bekeshev proposes to negotiate the issue with the Japanese Embassy in Kyrgyzstan.
“My proposal is to negotiate with the Embassy of Japan in our country, I think they can help us to solve the problem of radioactive cars. After all, the cars have been brought from there,”- said D. Bekeshev.
