"At this time, more than 200 Kyrgyz citizens are fighting in Syria, 30 of them are women. According to official figures, were killed 22 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic", - said the Head of the Criminal Investigation Department Rafik Mambetaliyev at a press conference on Monday.
According to him, the police is actively working on the prevention of extremism, terrorism, illegal migration and ethnic conflicts.
"The main issue - the Syrian conflict and participation of Kyrgyzstanies. Today revealed 83 facts of recruiting and sending Kyrgyzstan to Syria. For all the facts opened investigation",- said R. Mambetaliyev.
