22 people will stand trial in Almaty for the creation of transnational organized crime groups on the border with Kyrgyzstan

Almaty. April 10. Silkroadnews - 22 people, the citizens of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, are accused of creating a transnational organized criminal group on the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border (Kordai) and economic smuggling. This was reported by KazTAG citing the press service of the Military Court of Kazakhstan.
A preliminary hearing of the case is scheduled for April 16.
As explained in the press service, at the moment the case is under a specialized inter-district military court in Astana, but will be considered in Almaty, "because the defendants are there".
