23 Kyrgyzstani serve as UN peacekeepers in four countries

Almaty. July 21. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyzstan sent 23 of its citizens to serve in the UN peacekeeping missions overseas, informs KyrTAG citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).
"Kyrgyz peacekeepers are in Sudan, South Sudan, Liberia and Haiti", - informed in the ministry.
Serving abroad Kyrgyztanis will receive a salary from the United Nations. Usually Republic sends officers to peacekeeping missions from the Ministry of Defense and Interior Ministry.
Note Kyrgyzstan is the first country in Central Asia to take part in UN peacekeeping missions.
