3 candidates per 1 Hajj-quota in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek. May 21. Silkroadnews – There are three candidates for every existing hajj-quota in Kyrgyzstan, as the Head of Hajj-2014 office in Kyrgyzstan Zamir Rakiev informs.
“I would like to ask Muslims, who have already made Hajj to Mecca before, not to apply again. That is because there are many people who are applying for the first time. There would not be enough spaces for everybody. We only have 3685 quota and there are about 3 applicants per quota”, Mister Rakiev said.
The price oof Hajj has risen to USD 2 400 this year.
“Pilgrims will have to get newly introduced passports. Visas are not to be granted to women who want to make hajj without their husbands or close relatives”, he noted.
