450-kilogram aerial bomb from the time of Iran-Iraq war was defused in Iran

Almaty. August 14. Silkroadnews - Unexploded bomb from the time of Iran-Iraq war was discovered and defused in the town of Rabat on the north-western Iran, transmits the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG) on Wednesday.
According to the head of the district administration Rabat Kamol Rasul, 450- kilogram bomb was discovered by one of the locals when he dug the ground for the construction of the wall. Munition at a depth of about two meters, was neutralized by engineering calculation, called to the scene by the locals.
According to Mr. Rasul found aerial bomb was dropped on Iranian territory by the Iraqi Air Force during the war of 1980-1988 between the two neighboring countries.
