Almaty. May 5. Silkroadnews – Following the production and commissioning of the C919 jet, the five large aircraft clusters in the East, Northwest, Southwest and Northeast and middle China will also grow together to jointly open a trillion market, the “People’s Daily” newspaper writes.

According to Huo Daren, executive director of Boeing Civil Aircraft Group China, over the next 20 years China’s air transport market will require more than 7000 aircraft being the world’s first market exceeding $1 trillion. China Merchants Securities predicts that by 2030 the world demand for the C919 single-aisle airliners will amount to 14500 jets, and China will need about 2650 such aircraft. COMAC forecasts say, at least 2000 C919 will be sold at $50 million each with the C919 market exceeding $100 billion value (about 690 billion yuan).

It became known that for today in the world there are 570 orders for C919 from 23 clients. The market prospects are also quite impressive for the aircraft engines field.

The National Manufacturing Strategy Advisory Committee reported, the launch of a special project on the aircraft engines production will contribute to the rapid development of China’s aircraft industry and coincides with 2025 construction strategy; during the “thirteenth five-year plan” China’s aircraft engine production will exceed 70 billion yuan and then overcome the mark of 100 billion yuan by 2025 with some products entering the international market.

Currently, the production and assembly of the C919 involves hundreds of enterprises from the central cities of Shanghai, Xian, Shenyang, etc., the industry chain includes aircraft manufacturing, new materials delivery, metal processing, on-board equipment, high-precision instrumentation, etc. The trends for the aviation industry clusters development are quite obvious.

Following the production and commissioning of the C919, China will expect the formation of five large clusters of aviation industry with centers in the cities mentioned throughout the country: in the East, the Northeast, the Northwest, the Southwest and Central China.
