50% of bank depositors of Kyrgyzstan make savings in national currency
Almaty. March 2. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyz citizens keep half their savings in the national currency, reports the KyrTAG referring to the chairman of the National Bank Tolkunbek Abdygulov.
According to him, the National Bank supports the initiative of the Social Democratic Party fraction leader Chynybay Tursunbekov, which offers to give the citizens opportunity to hold funds in gold bullion.
As noted T.Abdygulov, the National Bank jointly with the proponent of the bill considered the possibility of low tide and sale of gold bullion. According to him, gold bullion will be sold in Bishkek and Osh.
Deputies are considering a bill by MP Ch. Tursunbekov.
He proposes to amend the Internal Revenue Code, which not only allows the public to make savings in gold, but also allows to develop mining and production of precious metals in the country.
Following the discussion, the deputies approved the bill and sent to the House.
