55 founding countries of ABII discussed in Beijing the draft charter of the organization

Almaty. April 29. Silkroadnews - In Beijing finished a two-day meeting of the negotiators on the creation of the Asian Bank of infrastructure investments (ABII), reported Xinhua news agency.
"The participants reaffirmed their readiness to finalize and sign the charter of ABII, as planned, in the middle of this year. Bank will start functioning as expected by the end of the year ", - said in a statement on Wednesday.
There was a detailed and fruitful discussions on a new version of the draft charter of ABII prepared by multilateral interim secretariat. Its head Jin Liqun informed about the process of creating ABII.
Participants welcomed the acquisition of the status of co-founder ABII by another 27 countries - Germany, Italy, France, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Maldives, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Spain, South Korea, Austria, Netherlands, Brazil, Finland, Georgia, Denmark, Australia, Egypt, Norway, Russia , Sweden, Israel, South Africa, Azerbaijan, Iceland, Portugal and Poland.
The meeting for the first time was attended by almost all the countries that have received the status of the alleged founding member of ABII except shaken by a devastating earthquake in Nepal and Bangladesh.
