A memorandum on India’s joining the SCO is expected to be signed at a SCO summit in Tashkent

Almaty. February 29. Silkroadnews - Bakhtiyer Khakimov, Russian president’s special envoy for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) affairs, said India and the SCO countries will sign a memorandum on India’s joining the SCO at the summit in Tashkent, the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) reports.
“We’re working over it,” - said B. Khakimov.
“The memorandum projects have been agreed on the national coordinators level. The decision has been made to hand these projects over to the partners, and then, in due course we will discuss them,” - he added.
To remind the SCO summit will be held in Tashkent on June 23-24.
