A new skimish at the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border

Almaty. July 10. Silkroadnews - A new skirmish occured at the Kyrgyz-Tajik border, transmits KyrTAG.
"Gunfight between border representatives of two states was provoked by unlawful actions of citizens of Tajikistan", - said Department of Public Relations and Media State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic on Thursday.
As explained, the citizens of Tajikistan in an amount of about 30 people attempted to build a pipeline from Kyrgyzstan (river Karavshin) to Tajikistan. Kyrgyz border guard, demanded to end skirmish. In response to the demands, Tajiistan's citizens threw stones to Kyrgyz border guard.
"In order to prevent misconduct by Tajiks, Kyrgyz border guards were forced to fire warning shots into the air. Tajik border guard, who was near the scene of the incident, opened fire on the Kyrgyz border guards. As a result, a short skirmish ensued between the border of the two republics"- indicates the report .
No wounded and injured mentined.
To regulate the conflict it is planned to hold a meeting of representatives of the border sides.
