A number of joint documents has been signed by the CIS heads of governments at the meeting in Bishkek

Almaty. June 7. Silkroadnews – A number of bilateral documents has been signed as a result of the meeting of the council of heads of the CIS states, KyrTAG reports.

The heads of governments signed the convention on the conservation of agro-biodiversity; strategy on “Health of the population of the CIS member states”; agreement on exchange of information on accidents at electric power facilities of the CIS; agreement on cooperation of the CIS in the field of professional training in electrical energy industry; agreement on information cooperation of the CIS on the radioactive sources movements.

Among the documents signed there are also the decision on the protocol between the member states on the free trade zone treaty dated October 18, 2011, on the rules and procedures of public procurement regulation; decision on implementation in 2015 of the CIS countries interstate program of innovation for the period up to 2020 and a set of measures on 2015-2016 on program implementation.

The meeting participants signed the decision to hold the 2020 CIS population census; concept of the CIS cooperation in the field of chemical industry and its implementation priority measures plan; the CIS concept of cooperation in combating cancer; the CIS cooperation program for prevention and treatment of diabetes in 2016-2020; decision on the CIS international exhibition “Art Expo”.

The heads of the governments signed a number of decisions on the CIS basic organizations. In particular, the parties agreed to establish the basic organization to provide a scientific and technical support for the transport sector development; the basic CIS organization for training, retraining and advanced training of personnel in the chemical industry; the basic CIS organization on work with the youth; the basic CIS organization on development of youth entrepreneurship; the basic CIS organization in the field of military metrology, the armed forces metrological support, and training of specialists in the field of mine clearance for the armed forces.

The parties also signed a resolution on amendments to the 2016 CIS bodies budget; decision on results of the 2015 documentary audits of financial and economic activity of the CIS bodies financed from the CIS bodies budget, as well as the decision on the next meeting of the Council of CIS heads of governments.

To remind, the meeting of the CIS heads of governments was held under the chairmanship of Kyrgyzstan in Bishkek on June 7.
