A part of $300 million the IDB provided Tajikistan with to be allocated for entrepreneurship

Almaty. April 13. Silkroadnews – Khaled Al-Aboodi, CEO, Private sector arm of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), met with Muzaffar Muhammadi, Tajikistan’s ambassador to Malaysia, the Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) reports.

During the conversation the parties discussed prospects for strengthening bilateral economic and financial relations between two countries.

“A part of $300 million allocated by the Malaysian Bank of the IDB will be used to finance the private sector in Tajikistan”, the report said.

The Malaysian side showed interest in further cooperation and stated its readiness to visit Tajikistan this September to get acquainted with the activities of the banks of Tajikistan and prospects for possible bilateral cooperation.
