Almaty. June 5. Silkroadnews – A system of monitoring for probationers from space is being tested in Kazakhstan, KazTAG wrote.
“Our system (of aerospace surveillance over supervised persons – KazTAG) “Accurate Navigation” allows for additional surveillance over citizens in such a test and experimental mode. The project development has been done. In May we created a working group for testing. Our system will be tested for around 60 days”, B. Atamkulov, Minister of Defense and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan, said in the Majilis on Monday.
He noted, the program has been fully developed by Kazakhstani specialists; the components for electronic bracelets have been imported from abroad.
“We use a 100% navigation system. The components for the mechanical electronic handcuffs were bought abroad and then assembled for trial. I personally saw the results. But as a whole the result will be seen after 60 days of the pilot project. This can make us independent of import orders. We need to test the system and the Ministry of Internal Affairs must present it in the standard operating mode”, the head of the department said.
