ADB will provide Tajikistan approximately $100 million for construction of the rail project

Dushanbe. June 24. Silkroadnews - About $100 million Tajikistan will receive from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in 2015 for the construction of a rail project at the regional area, said Tajik news agency (TajikTA).
On technical assistance of ADB, Tajikistan this year will hold a feasibility study (FS) of the project. For feasibility studies ADB will allocate $1 million The confident financing by ADB will start next year in the amount of $100 million
Practical implementation of the Tajik section will begin only after the final determination of the route by all project participants.
Recall, on 20th March 2013 the head of Tajikistan, Afghanistan and Turkmenistan in Ashgabat signed a memorandum on the construction of the railway, which will connect the three countries.
