Afghan government has approved the security forces development plan for 4 years

Almaty. January 4. Silkroadnews – The Afghan government has approved the development plan for the Afghan national defense and security forces (ANDSF) for 4 years, AfTAG reports.

The plan was approved at the meeting of the National Security Council chaired by President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani.

The president’s office reported that the document was approved after thorough consideration and in-depth discussion by the Security Council members.

In addition, the Security Council considered the situation in the field of security of some key provinces, including the southern – Helmand, Uruzgan, Kandahar, eastern – Nangarhar, northern – Kunduz, western – Farah, Badghis and Ghor.

The meeting participants have also considered the potential threats existing in the metropolitan area; the security officials have been assigned to take measures to prevent incidents in the city and other parts of the province.
