Afghan President arrives in Tashkent on an official visit

Almaty. December 5. Silkroadnews - The President of Afghanistan arrived on an official visit to Tashkent, the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) informs.
“At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, arrived in our country on December 4 with an official visit. Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov welcomed the honored guest at the international airport “Tashkent” named after Islam Karimov,” press service of the head of state said.
The main activities within the visit framework are scheduled for December 5-6.
Reportedly, the agenda includes discussion of the current state of Uzbek-Afghan relations and priorities for the development of cooperation in the long term, exchange of views on key issues of regional security and international problems.
