Afghan President expressed readiness to develop multifaceted cooperation with Iran

Almaty. September 7. Silkroadnews - Afghan President Ashraf Ghani said his country's readiness to develop mutually beneficial cooperation with Iran in various fields of bilateral relations, informed the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
"Afghanistan has always sought to strengthen trade ties with Iran, and after the agreement between Iran and the "six" leading countries, Kabul is ready to further develop this cooperation", - said A.Gani at the meeting with Interior Minister of Iran Rahmani-Fazli Abdulrezoy in Afghanistan capital of September 4.
According to the President, Afghanistan and Iran should make better use of the factor of having long border between the two countries for the expansion and strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation.
In turn, the head of the Interior Ministry of Iran expressed satisfaction with the current state of "brotherly and friendly" relations between the two countries, and confirmed the interest of the Iranian side to do everything necessary to further strengthen the Iranian-Afghan relations.
Rahmani-Fazli also stressed that Iran considers any threat to the security of neighboring countries as a threat to its own security.
