Afghanistan and Netherlands have opened a joint venture for the production of dairy products

Almaty. November 20. Silkroadnews - Ambassador of the Netherlands in Afghanistan Henk Jan Becker has commissioned a joint venture Mido Dairy in Kabul, said Afghan News Agency (AfTAG).
The factory is built according to the standards of milk production of Netherlands and is able to produce 40 thousand liters of yogurt a day.
The factory could have a significant impact on the creation of employment for young people in rural areas. It is planned to employ 100 workers after commisioning.
Also, it will create about 200 jobs for retailers, distributors, suppliers and other business partners of the enterprise in the Kabul region.
Owners of companies are going to create a system for the collection of milk at 500 - 700 farms.
