Afghanistan asks SCO countries to help the country's intelligence services in the fight against terrorism

Tashkent. October 23. Silkroadnews - Afghanistan asks member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), to help the country's intelligence services in the fight against terrorism, reported at the website of SCO Regional Antiterrorist Structure (RATS SCO) on Thursday.
Director of the Executive Committee of the SCO RATS Zhang Sinfen and Afghan Ambassador to Uzbekistan Daudzay Mohammad Sadiq discussed in Tashkent the situation in Afghanistan, said the report.
"The head of the Afghan embassy told about the readiness of the defense and security of Afghanistan to deal with terrorist threats posed by the movement "Taliban", which has a great influence in the south and east of the country. Ambassador asked the SCO member states on assistance to the national security forces of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in the fight against terrorism"- confirmed in the document.
In turn, Zh Sinfen pointed to the opportunity to discuss this issue at the upcoming November in Tashkent II scientific conference with the participation of the competent authorities of the member states and observers of the SCO.
