Afghanistan increased imports of Kazakh flour by 2.4 times in January-July

Silkroadnews - Kazakhstan increased exports of wheat or rye flour to Afghanistan in January-July 2014 to 345.4 thousand tons for $118.1 million, which is 2.4 times greater in quantity and 2.2 times more in cost than in the same period in 2013, reported KazTAG citing the Customs Control Committee of the Ministry of Finance.
As noted in the published data, excluding the countries of the Customs Union, Kazakhstan increased flour exports in January-July to 1017 thousand tons for $302.1 million, which is 15.3% more in quantity and 5.9% more in amount than in January-July 2013.
The largest buyers of Kazakh flour for 7 months. 2014 were: Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan.
