Afghanistan is commissioning a new hydroelectric plant Salma

Almaty. June 3. Silkroadnews - Within the next 45 days in the province of Herat will be commissioned a newly constructed hydroelectric plant Salma, said Afghan News Agency (AfTAG).
The project, worth $200 million, has been realized with the financial support of India. Hydroelectric power plant capacity will be about 42 MW of electricity. Also it will irrigate more than 80 thousand hectares of land.
