Afghanistan made a record for the collection of honey

Almaty. September 15. SIlkroadnews - Over the last six months in Afghanistan was collected more than 1500 tons of honey - a record figure, said Afghan News Agency (AfTAG).
The Ministry of Agriculture said that beekeepers were partially provided by necessary equipment, beehives and beeswax.
It should be noted that beekeeping is traditional in the provinces of Baghlan, Badakhshan, Ghazni, Herat, Kunduz, Logar, Nangarhar, Paktia and Takhar.
In the country there are more than six thousand beekeepers, 599 of them are professional associations, 2077 are members of cooperatives, and the rest are engaged in individual entrepreneurship.
