Afghanistan meets a record number of refugees returning from Pakistan

Almaty. September 21. Silkroadnews – Around 6 thousand refugees return to Afghanistan on a daily basis, Sayed Hussain Alemi Balkhi, Afghanistan's Minister for Refugees, said, AfTAG reports.

He added these are the highest numbers for the last 14 years. According to the minister, most of the refugees return to their homeland from neighboring Pakistan.

S. Balkhi also said a new residential district in northern Parwan province is to be built specially for the refugees returning home and those Afghan citizens who left their homes because of security affairs.
