Almaty. May 6. Silkroadnews - The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has revised its regional economic outlook for the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan and Pakistan (MENAP) and predicted that the IRA in terms of growth in 2016 will bypass Pakistan, said Afghan News Agency (AfTAG).
At the same time economic growth in Afghanistan is projected at 3.5% in 2015 fiscal year. In the 2016 fiscal year growth rates of the IRA should increase to 4.9%, while in Pakistan, only 4.7%.
In the report, it is expected that inflation will reach 6.9% and 6.5% in 2015 and 2016, respectively.
A modest recovery in the region of MENAP will continue, despite the sharp decline in oil prices, sharp regional conflicts and the permanent instability associated with the effects of the "Arab Spring".
