Almaty. June 24. Silkroadnews - In Afghanistan, amid rising tensions surrounding the presidential election, social networks have become a "battlefield" between the various political and national groups, and therefore the authorities plan to temporarily block access to certain Internet resources, according to Afghan news agency (AfTAG).
To limit the work of Facebook was supported by the majority of Afghan lawmakers. The reason for this were the numerous complaints of civil servants, politicians and ordinary citizens. Authorities also plan to carry out individual work with riders who expect fines and even prison sentences. Ban may last until the announcement of the final results of voting, scheduled for July 22.
