Agro-industrial park China to build in Kyrgyzstan will be the largest in Central Asia

Almaty. January 10. Silkroadnews – China will build in Kyrgyzstan the largest in Central Asia agro-industrial park, news agency “Xinhua” writes.

The total area of agricultural cooperation zone will be 4.6 square kilometers near the village of Iskra in Chuy valley, 60 km east of Bishkek. Construction is expected to be carried out in three stages to be completed in 2020.

In six years the park is planned to become an international centre in three areas: cultivation, production and supply of meat products.

The project’s main initiator and investor is Henan Guiyou Industrial Group.

A memorandum on strategic cooperation on financing and implementation of the Iskra Asia agricultural cooperation zone construction project in Kyrgyzstan was signed between the State Agency for Investment and Export Promotion under the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan and Henan Guiyou Industrial Group.
