Air cargo transportation between Afghanistan and India will start on June 15
Almaty. June 5. Silkroadnews – On June 15, 2017, air cargo transport will be opened between Afghanistan and India, Afghan Telegraph Agency (AfTAG) reports.
Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and “Ariana” airline signed a memorandum of understanding on the project realization.
The first cargo flight from Kabul to New Delhi will take place on June 15, the second flight is scheduled from Kandahar for June 20.
At present trade turnover between Afghanistan and India reaches around $350 million, within the next 3 years the governments of two states plan raising it up to $1 billion.
India is one of the major sponsors of Afghanistan. For the period since 2001 the country has invested more than $2.2 billion into various infrastructure projects of Afghanistan.
