An authoritative list of the best scientists in the world included 18 Iranians

Tehran. June 19. Silkroadnews - World media company Thomson Reuters recently published a list of the best scientists and researchers around the world. This list includes the names of 3,215 scientists who, according to the authors of the report, are the best in their fields of science, according to the KazTAG.
It is noteworthy that 18 Iranians who conduct research work at leading universities and research centers around the world are included in the list. Research results and scientific works of Iranian scientists in fields such as mathematics, physics, medicine, computer technology, agriculture, geology and microbiology, received international recognition in the scientific community of the world. It should be noted that the importance of scientific research by Iranian scientists, primarily supported by the fact that a large number of researchers have published their world works in various fields of science, based on the results of their labors.
List is the third authoritative report prepared by Thomson Reuters. Among 18 Iranians, mentioned in the list in 2014, 10 people directly represent higher education institutions and research centers of Iran, while the remaining eight live and work in the United States and Canada.
According to a list of universities and research centers, Iran Tehran University is considered a leading university in the country in terms of teacher education and training. Three of his representative mentioned in the list are the bests in their fields. In addition, the list also featured the names of scientists and researchers from three provincial universities of Iran, which are relatively little known in international circles. It should be noted that among 18 Iranians there are four women who were recogized in the report as the bests in areas such as engineering, microbiology, physics and geology.
