Another deputy of former president Ahmadinejad was arrested in Iran,

Beijing. March 20. Silkroadnews - Iran’s judicial authorities report on arrest of another deputy of former Iranian president, Rahim Mashaei, was arrested on Saturday, the Iranian Telegraph Agency (IrTAG) wrote.
According to the IRNA, Tehran’s General Prosecutor’s Office said Rahim Mashaei was arrested due to investigation carried out, yet did not give any details.
Rahim Mashaei was detained because, in front of the British Embassy in Tehran, he had set fire to a court verdict sentencing Hamid Baqaei, Ahmadinejad’s chief of staff, to imprisonment, his lawyer Mehran Abdollahpour told IRIB news, Fars News Agency reported.
To remind, Baqaei has been recently sentenced to 15 years in prison for misuse of public funds when he was a vice-president in Ahmadinejad’s office. Baghaei began serving his term last week.
