Beijing. January 24. Silkroadnews - The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) decided to extend the anti-dumping measures on polymer-coated metal produced in China, the Kazakh Telegraph Agency (KazTAG) reported citing the press service of the EEC.
A decision has been made to extend the anti-dumping measures on polymer-coated metal products from the People’s Republic of China until 2023, the statement said.
The previous decision on the duties imposed was taken in May 2012. The duty was set at a rate within 6.98% to 20.2% customs value range, depending on the manufacturer, and remained valid until June 30, 2017. Last May the measure was extended for the period of the repeated anti-dumping investigation, the commission representatives explained.
The EEC says, the investigation showed the current market’s sensitivity to prices for the rolled metal produced in the EEU countries regarding the volume of supplies from the PRC and Chinese producers’ price policy.
