APEC offered to create an inclusive free-trade zone in the Asia-Pacific region
Almaty. November 20. Silkroadnews - Creating a comprehensive, balanced and inclusive free trade area in the Asia-Pacific region is the common desire of all the members of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), Xinhua writes.
"The organization has to establish appropriate mechanisms and began developing a collective strategy. To prepare for the creation of a free trade area in the Asia-Pacific, APEC established a working group, chaired by the representatives of China and the United States", - said the publication with reference to the Deputy Minister of Commerce Wang Shouven.
According to him, "the creation of a free trade area in the Asia-Pacific region has become a priority subject of discussion on the issue of liberalization of free trade". He also hoped to achieve high-quality, comprehensive, balanced and inclusive agreement on free trade.
At present, APEC includes 21 countries, including the US, China, Russia, Vietnam, Canada, Australia, Singapore, etc.
