Arab military alliance will be created to combat terrorism

Thus, the Foreign Ministry spokesman Abdel Aty Egypt Badr said earlier that "the Arab states are threatened with schism and fragmentation, and in particular this applies to Libya, Syria, Iraq and Yemen. In this context, all existing solutions on the formation of a military alliance will be discussed in detail at the upcoming Arab summit in Egypt (March 28-29)".
Also earlier Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi during televised address to the nation, openly called for the establishment of Arab armed forces and added that "it is necessary to form Inter-Arab military grouping to confront challenges and threats".
According to diplomats, quoted by the Egyptian media, the formation of a military bloc "has not only just begun, but already has taken certain steps to ensure that it became operational in the near future".
