Asian Security and Development Organisation to rival OSCE, Nazarvayev thinks

Shanghai. May 22. Silkroadnews – New Asian Security and Development Organisation that is to be created on the basis of the CICA can rival the OSCE, as Kazakh President Nazarbayev reckons.
“I am sure that it is the time to create effective and efficient Organisation on Security and Development in Asia on the basis of CICA. It should be able to rival the OSCE that proved unable to stop coup d’etait in Kiev”, President Nazarbayev said at the conference on Interaction and Security Building Measures in Asia (CICA) this Wednesday.
Kazakh leader thinks that the West cannot sustainably develop and claim monopoly on search of truth without mutual understanding and cooperation with the East.
“The Global Crisis that the World has entered 6 years ago hasn’t gone anywhere. It is rising and grabbing one area after another: financial, economic, socio-political, even cultural and spiritual. That is why it is important for us, Asian countries, to work on peaceful development of the continent ourselves. Organisation on Security and Development in Asia can become an important tool in this process”, the President believes.
