Regarding the Friday evening fixing in dollar terms it declined by 2.9.
The cost of gold ounce in euros made 1029.645 (-3.367), and in British pounds 780.007 (-5.667).
The interbank gold fixing is carried out every trading day at 10.30 and 15.00 GMT. The fixing results are used as a guide to trade the gold futures around the world. 5 financial institutes physically participating in delivery of gold determine the price.
